Veterinary Biotechnology Products
Baobab Biotechnology supplies selected veterinary technologies that support responsible clinical use, animal welfare and innovation in veterinary practice. Our current commercial focus includes Regenesis Vet™ R.I.A.D®, supplied through veterinary channels for equine regenerative support.
One Health Research and Development
We develop and support R&D programmes focused on infectious disease, diagnostics, genomic surveillance and field-deployable workflows. This includes work at the interface of human-livestock-wildlife interface, companion animals and shared environments.
Diagnostics and Genomics Consulting
Baobab provides scientific and translational support for diagnostic assay development, ELISA and lateral flow workflows, PCR, qPCR, Oxford Nanopore sequencing, field genomics and pathogen surveillance.
To translate biotechnology into practical One Health solutions that improve human health, animal welfare, strengthen disease surveillance, support biosecurity and contribute to healthier ecosystems.
Our Scientific Foundation
Baobab is built on expertise in wildlife disease, veterinary immunology, molecular diagnostics, antibody discovery, protein expression, ELISA, qPCR, flow cytometry, Oxford Nanopore sequencing and whole-genome analysis.

Our team
Founder
Dr Eduard Roos is the Founder, CEO and Scientific Lead of Baobab Biotechnology UK LTD. He is a wildlife health and immunology scientist with experience across academia, biotechnology R&D, veterinary diagnostics and infectious disease research.
His work has focused on tuberculosis, wildlife disease, zoonotic infection, diagnostic assay development, antibody technologies, genomic epidemiology and One Health surveillance. Through Baobab Biotechnology, he brings this experience into a company designed to connect science, public health, veterinary practice, product development and field impact.
